Lady Katharine's Castle

Powderham Castle was featured in the 1993 film "The Remains of the Day", starring Anthony Hopkins and Emma Thompson. It was called "Darlington Hall" in the film. Though exterior shots of the Hall were not Powderham, most of the indoor shots were, and you are able to get a feel for the castle's interior from this film. The garden scenes were also filmed at Powderham.
