***this is NOT the Mayflower Thomas Rogers, said to have been born by about 1572. This Thomas arrived around 12 to 15 yrs after the Pilgrims. There is some dispute as to whether he or the Mayflower Thomas had a wife named "Elsgen". As Elsgen is apparently a common Dutch name, it is possible that they were both married to a woman of that name.
